The Rules for 12th International Triennial Exhibition “Theatre in Photographic Art”

Awards The following awards will be given for each of the topics:
a) for individual pieces: one Gold, one Silver and one Bronze Medal
b) for collections: one Gold Medal.
The Jury will award one FIAP Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal and three Honorary FIAP Mentions, as well as one Gold, one Silver and one Bronze Medal of the Photographic Association of Serbia
Authors receiving a Gold medal at the Triennial Exhibition for the third time acquire the title of Hon. of the International Triennial Exhibition “Theatre in Photographic Art” earning the right to exhibit their works outside of competition

Rules
• Participation is open to all photographers worldwide: professional and amateur photographers, photo-organisations, theatres, academies, etc
• The Triennial Exhibition Rules are in conformity with the Rules of the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP) and the Exhibition is held under the patronage of FIAP (No.2008/053) and the Photography Association of Serbia (No 2008/10)
• Only photographs made in 2005, 2006 and 2007 can be entered
• The Exhibition (black and white and colour photographs) envelops two topics:
- theatrical performance (drama, opera, ballet, pantomime, performance art, etc)
- theatre atmosphere (any moment in a theatre, on stage or backstage, in the audience, dressing rooms, halls, open air spaces, etc)
• Each author can enter a maximum of four works in both topic categories. A series of four linked photographs on the same topic can be submitted, which will be considered as one work.
• The photographs are to be mailed in electronic form on CD only. The Organiser shall, at its own expense, make the blow-ups for display purposes. Each photograph is to be sent as two separate files - one for the Jury in JPG format, dimensions 1024 x 768 pixels; the other in high-resolution for the blow-ups to be exhibited and printed in the catalogue, in JPG format, maximum quality, minimal format 20 x 30 cm in 300 dpi resolution. The files must bear the same title as in the application
• Soundly packed photographs are to be sent by registered mail to the following address: Du{ana Todorovi}, Sterijino pozorje, Zmaj Jovina 22/I, 21000 NOVI SAD, Republic of Serbia
• Participation is free of charge
• The Organiser shall reproduce the photographs solely for the needs of the Jury, Exhibition display and catalogue and the reproductions shall not be used for any other purposes whatsoever
• The Organiser holds no obligations towards the persons in the photographs.
• Each Triennial Exhibition participant shall receive a copy of the catalogue, while the authors of the exhibited photographs shall receive an honorary diploma as well.
• The authors i.e. senders accept these Rules of the Triennial Exhibition in their entirety by entering their works
